WHAT IS MICROBLADING?

EYEBROW MICROBLADING

MICROBLADING IS AN ADVANCED BROW TECHNIQUE WHICH USES A SUPERFINE ROW OF NEEDLES TO DEPOSIT PIGMENTS INTO THE EPIDERMIS CREATING THIN, HAIR-LIKE SEMI-PERMANENT MARKS WHICH LAST UP TO 12-18 MONTHS.

Microblading is  ideal for creating a very full and realistic looking brow, and is becoming an increasingly popular method in permanent makeup.

Microblading is quite similar to hair stroke cosmetic tattoo using the machine method, however the strokes are finer, and are not implanted as deeply in the skin. Therefore, brows created with microblading look better, but are not as permanent. They should be considered semi-permanent and usually last around 12 months before a retouch is required.

During the treatment, after a brow consultation, the new brow shape outline is penciled on, the brow area is numbed, and then pigment is implanted into the epidermis skin layer using very tiny needle strokes. These are built up into the new shape, and the area gradually made denser with lots of tiny hair strokes, depending on the desired result. This technique gives amazing results in the hands of a truly skilled artist.

The search for the perfect eyebrow continues throughout the world.  People everywhere, every day are looking for that perfect eyebrow shape without all the time it takes to perfect the brow using powders, pencils and stencils, in an otherwise rushed morning routine. The answer is eyebrow microblading.

Each person trying to achieve that just right look for their face realizes how much of a difference eyebrows can make to the overall look of ones face.

Each person has their own unique routine and sometimes it just takes a little tweaking to get your eyebrows right, or it can take a half an hour or more to get your eyebrows on fleek.

Microblading makes it possible to transform your eyebrows into the easiest part of your morning routine.

HISTORY OF MICROBLADING

Eyebrow microblading can also be known by many different names, microstroking, micropigmentation, eyebrow embroidery, eyebrow feathering, and 3D eyebrows. If it is using a needle to deposit pigment under the skin, it is microblading.

The procedure has been used in many other countries in Europe and Australia for a long time.  This has allowed the microblading procedure to develop the techniques and tools that allow for a better looking brow.

Microblading eyebrows continues to grow in popularity in the United States

MICROBLADING EYEBROWS

A microblade tool appears as a long hand held tool, similar to a scalpel with a handle on one end and rows of needles on the other end.  The microblade will have pigment applied on the micro needling end of the tool.  The color is matched to the skin tone of the person being microbladed and then the microblade is used to make a fine stroke in the eyebrow area just under the epidermis of the skin.  This part of the process is known as the microstroke process. This process results in the pigment being implanted into the skin, which is known as micropigmentation. With the proper technique and artistry, microbladed eyebrow results look totally amazing and completely natural.
